Philippe Pellet was born on february 15th 1970, on the Reunion island. The sheer cruelty of growing-up in a world of sand beaches and sun… Back in metropolitan France in 1986, mainly for educational reasons, he then studied graphic design and advertising. He served for conscription in the alpine division… (no more sea and coconut trees…). After a few difficulties, he met Éric Cartier in 1995, who introduced him to Arleston and Latil. These chance meetings led to the first 4 volumes of Les Guerriers followed by Les Forêts d’Opale. 9 volumes and 15 years later, he is now ready to start a new journey with Sheïd, a project for which he wrote his own script and where he intends to pass on if only a little bit of the warmth of his tropical roots.
